What is Quality Control?

Quality control (QC): is a procedure or set of procedures intended to ensure that a manufactured product or performed service adheres to a defined set of quality criteria or meets the requirements of the client or customer.
In order to implement an effective QC program, an enterprise must first decide which specific standards the product or service must meet.

Application:

At the American Institute for International Accreditation and Legalization, we can recommend and customize standards to meet your objectives. We take into consideration the size of the entity, number of employees, clients, deliverables, business environment, and budget. The extent of QC actions must be determined (for example, the percentage of units to be tested from each lot).
Next, real-world data must be collected (for example, the percentage of units that fail) and the results reported to management personnel.
After this, corrective action must be decided upon and taken (for example, defective units must be repaired or rejected, and poor service repeated at no charge until the customer is satisfied). If too many unit failures or instances of poor service occur, a plan must be devised to improve the production or service process and then that plan must be put into action.
Finally, the QC process must be ongoing to ensure that remedial efforts, if required, have produced satisfactory results and to immediately detect recurrences or new instances of trouble.
Once an entity is comfortable that it adheres to the QC standards, it could request a QC review. This review is performed through our professionally trained staff to insure compliance with the QC standards and a report is issued upon completion of the review.

AiiAL-QC Certification:

A Quality Control Certificate with our distinguished AiiAL QC stamp is issued to entities who have successfully passed the QC review. Certification can be a useful tool to add credibility, by demonstrating that your product or service meets the expectations of your customers. You can choose between becoming nationally accredited or internationally accredited.
For national accreditation, the whole process will be completed by your AiiAL member in your country. For International accreditation, you will be dealing with the head office in USA and your certification will be authenticated and legalized at the Department of State in Washington, D.C. You can also request your AiiAL QC certification to be legalized from your foreign embassy in USA.
